A young 4-H member from Wisconsin is taking her love of animals worldwide.

Addison Connolly and her Border Collie, Cooper, have been named to Team USA for the 2025 Junior Open Agility World Championship. The event will take place this July in Portugal.

Addison is one of 24 junior handlers selected from across the country. She is also the only competitor from Wisconsin.

Their sport? Dog agility. It’s a fast-paced competition where dogs race through obstacle courses with their handlers. The goal is speed, accuracy, and teamwork.

Addison credits her 4-H experience for helping her grow in animal care and training.
