The Festival of Toys is back! If there’s any way to spread holiday cheer, it’s donating toys to kids in need. What began as a thoughtful effort on AM 790 WAYY has blossomed into something truly amazing, now spanning across all 6 Mid-West Family Eau Claire stations. It’s all part of the Best Holiday Ever, where generosity, community, and spreading cheer take center stage.

This year is the 21st annual Festival of Toys, and it’s still going strong. Since we kicked things off back in 2003, this toy drive has been a force for good, gathering and delivering over 125,000 toys and gifts to folks in need throughout the Chippewa Valley. And guess what? This incredible milestone is all thanks to the awesome listeners of Mid-West Family Eau Claire stations and our fantastic sponsors. Big shoutouts to Family Promise Of The Chippewa Valley, Salvation Army, the Boys and Girls Club, Spirit of Christmas, and Jason’s Presents for helping us make magic happen.

Our mission? Simple. We’re here to collect brand-new, unwrapped toys and goodies for kiddos aged 18 months to 18 years. Plus, we’re gathering essentials like batteries, tape, and wrapping paper to sprinkle a little more holiday magic for families going through tough times.

None of this would be possible without our rockstar sponsors. Huge thanks to the Festival of Toys signature sponsor, TDS Fiber and High-Speed Internet, and our incredible partners: Festival Foods, Chilson Subaru and the Chilson Family of Automotive Dealerships, EC Moving and Storage, and our presenting sponsor, Amundson’s Appliance. Thank you!

Our on-air personalities will be appearing at Festival Foods locations from 6am – 10am each day to collect new, unwrapped toys and gifts for kids of all ages.

  • Tuesday, December 5th: Chippewa Falls
  • Wednesday, December 6th: Birch Street
  • Thursday, December 7th: North Clairemont
  • Friday, December 8th: Mall Drive

Through December 11th, donation locations include:

  • Festival Foods Stores in Eau Claire/Chippewa Falls
  • Amundson’s Appliance in Eau Claire/Chippewa Falls
  • Chilson Subaru in Eau Claire
  • LE Phillips Senior Center in Eau Claire

So, here’s the deal: let’s come together and make this year’s Festival of Toys the most epic one yet. Let’s light up the holidays for our community, spread joy, and make a real difference in the lives of those who could use a little extra love. Are you in? Let’s do this, and everyone can have the Best Holiday Ever!
